Fiji Residents rugby league prepares for 2019 Pacific Games

The Fiji Residents rugby league squad had their first fitness test at the Rabuka Gym yesterday as they have six months to prepare for the 2019 Pacific Game in Samoa.

Fiji NRL Head Coach Vulaono Dakuitoga says the 30 named squad will continue with their fitness tests on a monthly basis before naming the final team.

We have submitted to FASANOC 39 players, and there’s about 40 out there. After this fitness test then we’ll do the chopping and we’ll see who doesn’t meet the criteria and we will start chopping.”
