Fiji ready for Tonga

The Fiji Sevens team knows that when they play against Tonga they will have to be extra cautious especially with Etuate Waqa as the mastermind.

Fiji assistant coach Timoci Wainiqolo says they are aware that Waqa knows the team as he was coaching them before his departure to Tonga.

Wainiqolo says they know how to counter the Tongans.

“We are aware that Eddie will be with the Tongans but we will be out there playing for our country. We will be playing each and every game like its the final.”

Fiji has been pooled with Scotland, Tonga and Australia for the first leg of the IRB sevens series.
