A total of 135 volunteers and officials will help run the 2014 FIBA–USP Oceania Under 19 Basketball Championships next week.

Basketball Fiji Secretary General, Ned Taito says as hosts, organizers are working around the clock to make the one-week competition a successful one.

“For the first time ever this is a home grown competition, for example in the Pacific Games it was organized nationally. But this is organized by the federation, and it is a big achievement for us.

The 2014 FIBA–USP under 19 Oceania Championships will be held at the Vodafone Arena in Suva on December 1st to the 6th.
