Fiji Pearls finish 11th

The Fiji Pearls have finished in 11th spot in the Netball World Cup after defeating Scotland 51-41 in the play-off.

Goal-shooter, Taraima Mitchell had a solid game in the circle, making 29 out of 31 shots, with partner, Afa Rusivakula adding 22 points from 26 attempts.

Fiji missed out on a top 10 finish after losing to Samoa yesterday.

In other results so far today, Trinidad and Tobago defeated Samoa 64-51 in the 9th and 10th place play-off while Barbados beat Zambia 58-38 in the 7th and 8th place play-off.
