The Fiji Pearls have set their sights on a ninth place finish at the Netball World Championships, currently underway in Australia.

The side, which lost to Wales and Uganda in pool play, won its third match against Zambia, 59-51 yesterday.

This sees the team placed in the second tier of the competition and the best the side can finish is ninth.

After the completion of pool games yesterday, the redrawing of pools sees Fiji, placed with Sri Lanka, Scotland and Barbados.
