The Fiji Pearls Netball side left for New Zealand this morning to face the Silver Ferns in a one off Test.

Coach Kate Carpenter says she wants the girls to gain as much experience as possible on this tour.

“We have got the Silver Ferns on Thursday and then we have a practice match against the central Under 23’s which is a regional group of the lower North Island and that will give us an opportunity for some of our younger athletes on court and the lesser experienced so we are looking forward to that as well.”

Fiji takes on the Silver Ferns in Wellington on Thursday.
