The Fiji Paralympic Association has received a major boost ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Games in Japan.

Asco Motors have sponsored close to $30,000 which will assist in athlete development programs towards the Paralympic Games.

The Associations executive officer Joshko Wakaniyasi says they have already mapped out their plans for the next two years.

“It’s not a one of support but it’s in different phases. The commitment is for a long term and this can only result in bettering ourselves and qualifying for the international meet.”

The association has started its preparation to participate in the qualifying events which will be held next year.
