FASANOC Chief Executive, Loraine Mar, says the excitement of this year’s Fiji Sports Hall of Fame awards night should be heightened by the attendance of Fiji Olympians.
Mar adds just over 200 athletes have represented Fiji on stage and this event will bring Olympians together.
“It’s going to be a gathering of Olympians which is the first time that we’re making this attempt. During the day they will have some kind of capacity building workshop and then in the end of the day with attendance with the Fiji Sports Hall of Fame and we’re hoping to be able to recognize these group of people on the night as well as the recipients of the awards.”
Nominations for the Fiji Sports Hall of Fame closes this Friday.
The Fiji Sports Hall of Fame award night will be held on the 13th of October at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
