Good news doesn’t seem to stop for the Fiji Pearls Netball team.
Sports World today announced its 5 year sponsorship deal with the association valued at $6000 annually.
Sports World will provide Fiji Netball with Gilbert brand official training and match balls to increase their performance levels.
In separate deal Asics footwear valued at $395 each will be provided to the girls to be worn at the Pacific Games, the test match against the Silver Ferns and the Netball World Cup in Sydney.
Netball Fiji President Wainikiti Bogidrau says the sponsorship couldn’t have come at a better time.
“Both Gilbert and Asics are quality netball brands. We will be using Gilbert balls at the netball World Cup, the Pacific Games and the tests against the Silver Ferns and Asics of course. Anyone who is a top Netballer wears Asics.”
Meanwhile, the Fiji Pearls leave for Papua New Guinea on the 11th of next month with the netball competition at the Pacific Games starting two days later.
