Fiji needs to play on professional pitches-Shane

Cricket Fiji still says they need more game time on professional pitches to better their game.

Coach, Shane Jurgensen says bowling is quite different on the pitches we have here in Fiji and on those that they play on overseas.

“The pitches that we have here in Fiji are of concrete base with artificial grass. Now the difference is when the Cricket ball is hard, the pitch is hard. So when the ball hits the ground off the fast bowler, there is a strong impact off the pitch which is quite quick.”
