The Vodafone Fiji Under 20 team has been urged to continue with the standard of preparation they had before the FIFA World Cup.
Coach, Frank Farina made the comments upon arrival at the airport today as his contract with the national age group team expires at the end of this month.
He says the team can continue to improve even without his leadership.
“Well this team can prepare along that way. I finished up in the end of June and so I’ll be back here for five or six days just to put the final report in from the World Cup and the lead up. And then I fly back top Brisbane and play abit of golf but my contract finishes at the end of June.”
He refused to comment on whether he will increase his contract term if any is offered.
Farina says he is happy with the overall performance of the players at the tournament.
Meanwhile you can watch the semi finals and final of the World Cup live on FBC TV.
