Basketball Fiji has confirmed its participation for the mens team in the World Qualification round for the first time.

This tournament will help the mens team to qualify for the World Cup and its participation in the Division A.
Chief Operations Officer Lai Puamau, says that details of the competition is yet to be confirmed.

“This year our mens team will compete in the World Qualifications round that will be held in Asia a date and venue is yet to be confirmed”.

Basketball Fiji is aiming to recruit twelve players for this major tournament in early March.
