Fiji loses opening match against Guernsey

The Fiji cricket side has suffered a big 188 runs defeat at the hands of Guernsey in the ICC World Cricket League Division Six competition in England.

Batting first, Guernsey managed 287 runs for the loss of seven wickets after 50 overs.

In reply, Fiji was all out for 99 runs in 37.5 overs.

Jone Wesele was Fiji’s top batsman getting 20 runs, while, Viliame Manakiwai and Imran Khan managed two wickets each.

Fiji plays Suriname later tonight.
