The Fiji National Cricket side had an upset performance in its last match of the ICC East Asia Pacific T20 qualifier at Suva’s Albert Park.

The Fijians have failed to progress to the regional finals after Samoa won by nine wickets to Fiji this afternoon.

Fiji batted first and scored 163 runs in 20 overs while Samoa scored 165 runs in 16.3 overs.

Meanwhile, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu have both qualified to the 2020 ICC World T20 Qualifier in Australia.
