The Fiji Judo Association is looking forward to develop and involved more young players in to the sport next year.

Association president Nacanieli Takayawa says they want to prepare a good team to the 2017 Oceania Continental Judo Championships in Tonga next year.

“Our aim is to get a good placing since we have been qualifying every year.

Takayawa says they will be visiting schools and teach students the techniques of the sport.

The championship will be played from the 28th to the 29th of April in Nuku’alofa.
