'Fiji is a hub for breeding players'-Bati Coach

Fiji National Rugby League Coach Brandon Costin says Fiji has become a hub for breeding strong rugby league players.

Costin says international scouter clubs are always in the country to recruit these players.

Costin says Fiji is becoming a competitive market for international clubs who wants a part of Fijian talent.

‘There’s always NRL clubs and NRL scouts in Fiji. They are always looking and a lot of the time they don’t make themselves known. They’re not looking to advertise the fact that they’re here because obviously they compete with 15 other NRL clubs. They’re not even looking to even tell us but they’re here all the time’.

Meanwhile, Costin is expected to announce his extended squad next week as they prepare to take on Tonga Residents next month.
