The Fiji Rugby Union is currently talking to the New Zealand Rugby Union about the possibility of playing against the All Blacks before the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Vodafone Flying Fijians Coach John McKee says after their successful performance at this year’s June Test and the Pacific Nations Cup they need to play against Tier One nation’s team to top-up their preparation.
“It is no secret that we’re trying to get big matches here and there’s communications between FRU and NZRU about playing the All Blacks as our first game of our new program.”
The Flying Fijians will play six tests from June through November next year as part of their build-up towards the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
