Fiji hopes to fill in most of its athletes for Bodybuilding Championship

Fiji hopes to pull in most of its potential athletes for the upcoming South Pacific Bodybuilding Championship in October.

This comes after the Fiji Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation was given the green light to host this year’s championship.

Federation Treasurer Ronald Rishay says Fiji athletes will have an advantage as this will be on home soil.

“We would be able to fill at least 15 – 20 athletes who are in a very good position for medals and we hoping to have a very successful event in terms of Fiji being hosting and vying for most of the medals.”

The championship will be staged in Suva from the 26th to the 28th of October and will see athletes from countries like the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Samoa and New Caledonia competing
