The Vodafone Fiji Futsal team has recorded its first win on its New Zealand tour.

The Intiaz Khan-coached side defeated Waikato 4-3 earlier this afternoon.

Fiji had earlier suffered two heavy defeats at the hands of New Zealand going down 8-nil and 7-2 in two separate matches.

The team plays the New Zealand Futsal side in another match at 8pm tomorrow.
