The Vodafone Fiji Football senior team has moved up 17 places on the FIFA World rankings.

The 5-0 win over Tonga and 6-0 drubbing of American Samoa has moved the Fijian side from 198 to 181 on the rankings.

Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel says more matches are being lined up for the national side.

“We will be looking at November window now, where we can travel to two or three countries together in Asia and then decide on the November window when the FIFA window opens in November.”

Meanwhile, Argentina remain as the number one ranked football nation in the world.
