Fiji focuses on Cape Town 7s

“The Vodafone Fiji 7s side now shifts its focus to the Cape Town tournament which will be played this weekend.”

With 19 points from Dubai, and three behind leaders South Africa, the aim now is to win and finish the first leg on top.

Fiji’s interim coach, Nacanieli Cawanibuka says the performances of all players will be reviewed before the final squad for this weekend is named.

“We will have a look at the video, review and reflect and have a look at individual player performances. We will work through our training and preparations again in the coming days before the South Africa tournament in Cape Town.”

The Fiji 7s side kicks off its Cape Town 7s campaign against Japan at 11.05pm on Saturday.

They then take on Kenya at 2.06am on Sunday before playing France in the last pool game at 6.12am.
