The Stoop, the venue for the Vodafone Flying Fijians Rugby World Cup warm-up match against Canada tomorrow is expected to be filled to the brim with Fiji supporters.
Fiji’s 8th Man, a group dedicated to giving the country’s rugby team’s (15’s and 7’s) the utmost support, is mobilizing fans living in Britain to turn up in numbers to the venue.
Co-ordinator, Lorraine Raiwalui-Suka says the group has coined the phrase #ComeSupportasaNation and is targeting at least 300 supporters to cheer on the boys before they begin their World Cup campaign.
The Fiji-Canada warm-up match kicks off at 1:30am tomorrow (Fiji TIme).
The Flying Fijians will then take on England in the World Cup opening match on September 19th at 7am and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
Meanwhile, today the Wallabies will take on USA in Chicago, while Georgia meets Japan.
