Fiji faces Cook Islands in the quarter-final

The Fiji Airways national mens side will face Cook Islands in the quarterfinal of the Oceania 7s at ANZ Stadium in Suva today.

Fiji topped its pool after beating American Samoa 24-5 in its last pool match last night.

The Gareth Baber coached side takes on Cook Islands at 12pm.

In the other quarterfinals, Australia plays Papua New Guinea at 11am, New Zealand plays American Samoa at 11.20am while Samoa take on Tonga at 11.40am.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side has qualified to the semi-final despite losing to Australia by 28-5 in its final pool match.

They take on world champions, New Zealand at 1.20pm while Australia plays PNG in the other semifinal at 1pm.

The day two of the competition kicks off at 11am today.
