Fiji FA remains tightlipped

The Fiji Football Association has confirmed that a Board of Control meeting will be held at 11am on Wednesday at the Vatuwaqa headquarters.

Fiji FA president, Rajesh Patel and chief executive Bob Kumar remain tightlipped on issues concerning what actions to take following the abandonment of the Courts IDC final between Suva and Ba on Sunday night.

The parent body is currently seeking advice from FIFA.

According to FIFA and the IDC rules, the team that did not walk out of the field of play during playing time gets the three points and the win.

It also states that any team failing to observe the rule will be fined.
