The major sponsor of the Champion versus Champion series, Pillays Garments today handed a cheque of $26,000 to the Fiji Football Association in Suva.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says Lautoka and Ba have been given the preparation and transport grant.

He says the winner of the series will walk away with $5, 000 while the runner up will get $1, 000.

“More than half of the sponsorship goes back to the teams and also the teams will get newly designed football uniform from Pillays Garments.”

Lautoka plays Ba at 7.30pm tomorrow at Churchill Park and the second match will be held at the same venue at 3pm on Sunday.
