Fiji FA launches U-19 League

The Fiji Football Association today launched its Vodafone Under-19 League in Suva.

16 teams will take part in the league in the three different zones, which includes six teams in the Northern division and five each in the Southern and Western Zone.

FIFA’s Regional Development Officer, Ronen Hesrcho says they youths are the future of the association and the country.

“I believe this is the way we are looking forward to and you are going to be a role model for others. Money is very important so you need to work very hard for it.”

Meanwhile, in the Vodafone Premier League match today, Labasa hosts Nadi at 1.30pm at Subrail Park.

In the games tomorrow, Dreketi faces Nadi at 1.30pm at Subrail Park while at 3pm Suva plays Tavua at Garvey Park and Rewa hosts Lautoka at Ratu Cakobau Park.
