Fiji Football is now looking to investigate a game where 19 goals were scored.

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel says the score line itself demonstrated something uncanny.

“The last match of 18-1 was a joke. I think there’s something that’s needed to be taken into account and we are already investigating into it with Tailevu North as to what is happening to it. My vice president will definitely look into it.”

Nasinu won the game against Tailevu North by 18-1 with the first goal scored in only 32 seconds.

Patel says Fiji FA will weed out all elements pertaining to damage the sport in the country.
