Fiji FA hopes for a favorable weather

The Fiji Football Association is ready to host another exciting Courts Inter District Championship which kicks of this weekend.

Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says all the technical aspects of the championship have been sorted and they are now counting down for Friday.

He says their only worry right now is the weather.

“All the matches are exciting and all the VIP tickets are selling very fast and a lot of overseas fans have traveled in and I’m urging people to buy tickets now to avoid disappointment and hopefully the weather clears and we should have a football fiesta.”

Meanwhile, the Premier Division starts on Friday where Rewa plays Tavua at 1.30pm, Labasa faces Nasinu at 3.30pm, Suva meets Nadi at 6pm and Lautoka will battle Ba in the last match of day one at 8pm.
