Fiji FA happy with players in OCL

The Fiji Football Association has been happy with most of the Vodafone Fiji Under-20 players featuring in the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League, currently underway.

Vodafone Ba and Vodafone Suva have been using its national juniors during the match days held so far.

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel says this can open up doors for the youngsters and other players as well.

“What we expect from here and the team that are playing here and the coaches who have come, they do see the talent and the skills of players here, like Roy Krishna is already playing for Wellington Phoenix and can see some of the teams will be interested in players form Fiji.”

Meanwhile, Ba takes on AS Pirae at 7pm at Govind Park while at 4.30pm Lupe Ole Soaga takes on FC Gaitcha on Saturday.

Tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium in Suva, AS Tefana plays Hekari United at 4.30pm while Tafea FC battles Team Wellington at 7pm.
