Fiji FA gets affiliated to NZ-FIJI SC

The Fiji Football Association has made big plans and signed new deals at at Chrchill Park in Lautoka.

Fiji FA president, Rajesh Patel today confirmed signing an affiliation agreement to the NZ-Fiji Soccer Incorporated, formerly known as NZ AFC.

The deal means, Fiji will participate in the Pacific Cup in New Zealand in November.

The four 2012 Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants semi-finalists, Ba, Labasa, Lautoka and Nadi will take an all-expenses paid tribute to Auckland for the tournament featuring six NZ-based clubs.

Gate-takings from these games in NZ will be shared with Fiji FA.

NZ AFC president, Shelvin Dutt revealed also, he hopes to build a two-three year program where local players who perform will get the chance to play for clubs in NZ.

Hence, providing more overseas exposure for local players.
