Fiji FA elections on today

The Fiji Football congress today will see elections for the three vice president positions.

Jainendra Sukhu, who is the sitting VP for South is not seeking a re-election and his position will see Nasinu’s Jitendra Reddy battle with Tailevu Naitasiri boss, Sandeep Roy.

In the West, Jitendra Kumar will face a challenge from former Nadi president Naveenda Goundar, while for the North, it will be a battle between Girja Prasad and Edwin Rama.

Fiji FA president, Rajesh Patel, says they will let the affiliates vote the best persons in, but the body has put up three of its own people for the positions.

“There is elections for the vice presidents and the three VPs that Fiji FA is putting up, are Jiten Reddy of South, Jitendra Kumar of West and Girja Prasad in the North.”

The annual financial report will also be presented at the meeting, which starts at 10am.
