Fiji FA clears majority of the players

The Fiji Football Association’s Dispute Committee has given clearance to majority of the prominent players who applied to join the other districts in the transfer window.

In a meeting held in Ba, the committee has cleared Men in Black utility Laisenia Raura plus Meli Codro to play for Suva while Samuela Nabenia will feature for Lautoka.

Suva’s Sakaraia Naisua and Savenaca Nakalevu have been cleared to play for Ba while Rewa’s Siotame Kubu has been given the green light to feature for Labasa.

Dreketi striker Anish Khem joins Rewa while Sairusi Nalaubu has been cleared to play for Lautoka.

Meanwhile, Fiji FA has left the decision on the districts on the release of Nadi’s Napolioni Qasevakatini and Antonio Tuivuna of Labasa.

The duo have shown interest to join Suva this month.

Meanwhile, the IDC kicks off next Friday where Rewa plays Tavua at 1.30pm, Labasa faces Nasinu at 3.30pm, Suva meets Nadi at 6pm and Lautoka will battle Ba in the last match of day one at 8pm.
