The Fiji men’s under 18 basketball team is expected to face a tough battle against Australia in its last pool match of the FIBA under 18 Oceania Championship tonight at Suva’s Vodafone Arena.

The Manoa Puamau coached side won its second pool match against Tahiti 64-51 yesterday while Australia defeated Guam 117-41.

Fiji will meet Australia at 8 tonight.

Meanwhile, in the women’s division, Fiji will take on Australia at 4pm today.
Looking at the game results played this morning, New Zealand beat New Caledonia 137-22 in the men’s division.

In the women’s division, New Caledonia beat Guam 58-26 while New Zealand is currently leading PNG 71-11 at half time.
