Fiji end RWC on a high

The Vodafone Flying Fijians have ended their 2015 Rugby World Cup with a 47-15 defeat of Uruguay this morning.

Fiji was awarded two penalty tries in the 3rd and 28th minute, while halfback, Nemia Kenatale, Leone Nakarawa, Tevita Cavubati, Kini Murimurivalu and Nemani Nadolo dotted down a try each.

Nadolo was successful with six conversions for a personal tally of 17 points.

Uruguay halfback, Agustin Ormachea was flashed a red card after picking up a second yellow card offense for lashing out at Fiji prop, Campese Ma’afu, while the latter was sent to the sin-bin for retaliating.

Nakarawa was awarded ‘Man of the Match’.

The bonus-point win sees Fiji finish in fourth spot in Pool A with Uruguay in last position.

Earlier today, Romania beat Canada 17-15.
