The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side defeated New Zealand 21-15 in their last pool match of the Oceania Rugby 7s.

The national side led 14-5 at halftime.

Forward Aminiasi Tuimaba, Napolioni Bolaca and Isoa Tabu scored tries for Fiji.

Fiji will now meet Japan SDS in the final of the Oceania 7s tomorrow at 4.14pm while Australia play Samoa in the Men’s Olympic Qualifier Final at 4.36pm.

Meanwhile in the women’s category, the Fijiana 7s side will play Samoa in the first semifinal of the Women’s Olympic Qualifier at 12.12pm while Papua New Guinea face Solomon Islands in the second semifinal at 12.34pm.

The Women’s Olympic Qualifier final is at 3.52pm.
