Fiji cricket side remains unbeaten

The Fiji men’s side has maintained its unbeaten run on its Australia tour, beating the Nambour Cricket Club side in their Twenty20 encounter on Monday.

The match was a special moment in Fiji’s history, with it being the first time a Fiji team played under floodlights.

The hosts batted first, finished with 111 runs.

In reply, Fiji reached the target with relative ease in the 19th over for the loss of six wickets, winning by four wickets.

Fiji will now play two Twenty20 matches today, and hopes to continue their unbeaten form as the build towards the T20 and World League Qualifiers in Lismore, New South Wales, at the end of the month.
