March 31, 2012 4:00 am

Fiji has won their first pool match at the Tokyo 7s, beating France 17-0 this afternoon.

France managed to hold Alivereti Dere’s men down for most of the half before Waisea Nayacalevu scored his first of two tries just before the breather.

The second spell saw a much more composed Fiji outfit dominate the French before their third try came after a hard run from Nemani Nagusa.
