February 28, 2016 5:25 pm

The Fiji Car Club is looking to take its regular quarter-mile drag race events to other parts of the country.

All the club’s events are held at Nanuku Airstrip in Deuba and club president, Raizal Hannif says plans are in place to branch out from its traditional homeground.

“We are trying to have one drag race in the West. We are talking to authorities and if they give us permission, then we will go ahead and use one of the public roads to race.”
