The Fiji Car Club is urging all car racers in the country to come out in numbers for next week’s quarter mile drag.
Club President, Raizal Haniff says car owners have good time to prepare the cars as they have announced the dates quite early.
“We always try our best to advise our members as soon as possible as to when the race will be. Now that we have announced two weeks earlier that the race will be next week so the drivers will have ample time to get their cars ready before Sunday. We also thank our sponsors for getting the cheque ready in time for the announcement and now we are all ready for Sunday.”
Meanwhile, Cruz Holdings Limited gave a sponsorship of $4,500 to the Car Club for the event.
The second last quarter mile drag race of the year will be held next Sunday at Nanuku Airstrip in Pacific Harbour.
