The Fiji bowling team to the Commonwealth Games will participate in the National Triples competition that will be held this weekend.

Suva Bowling club Vice President Samuela Tui says the tournament is expected to attract new faces to the sport and boost bowling in the country.

“Bowling is no longer old people’s game, in other countries younger generations are representing their countries in international tournaments and we should consider that for Fiji as well.”

The National Triples will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the Suva bowling club.
