The Fiji Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation president Vilash Chand says they are ready to host the South Pacific Bodybuilding Championships.
Chand says they had a number of challenges in the past in administration and funding, however with the change in management they were able to meet the government’s requirement to host the championship.
“With the new team we managed to put our administration in order we were able to get our finance arranged and I think the most important thing is we managed to meet the governments requirements of the Fiji spots commission.”
The championship will be staged in Suva from the 26th to the 28th of October which will see competitors from countries like the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Samoa and New Caledonia competing.
