The 24th Fiji Bitter Nawaka rugby 7s tournament which begins on Friday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi will feature 48 top local teams.

Tournament organiser, Mataiasi Nabau says they chose to reduce the number of participating teams due to the recent floods.

They will be be putting together the pool draws this evening.

The likes of defending champions, the Samurai Barracuddas, Red Rock, Police, Wardens, Army, Nawaka, Uprising will compete over two days with $10,000 up for grabs in the cup final.
