Fiji bags three gold medals in Taekwondo Championship

Team Fiji scooped three gold medals at the New Zealand Union Taekwondo Championship last weekend.

Shohil Chand won the Junior Male Under 12 35kg, Adam Valentine topped the Junior Male Under 17 64kg while Fiji’s third gold medal came from Aliya Valentine who won the Junior Female under 16.

The competition sees Fiji, New Zealand and Australia competing in the three day event.

Fiji won ten medals in the Championships.
