Fiji has beaten South Africa to progress to the finals of the Gold Coast 7’s.
Ulaiyasi Lawavou opened Fiji’s account with a try in just the second minute of play.
South Africa fought back but Fiji managed to pull through with a 21 – 10 victory.
Meanwhile, New Zealand beat Kenya
In the games earlier, Fiji defeated Samoa 19-7 in the quarter finals.
Later tonight, Scotland will face USA in the Shield finals.
In the Shield final later tonight Scotland will play the USA.
Meanwhile New Zealand had to work extra hard to beat Kenya in the second semifinal 15-5.
Fiji plays New Zealand in the final later tonight.
In the Shield final Scotland will play USA and in the Bowl final England will battle Spain while France and Argentina will meet in the Plate final.
