Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan says the team has shown in the past that it adapts well to three-day tournaments.

The team departs for the United States of America today for the Las Vegas 7s, which kicks-off on Saturday.

Ryan says more rest periods between games energizes the players and he is expecting the side to come out firing this weekend.

“It will be good if you think that Olympic Games is over three days. The only three-day tournaments last year were Hong Kong and Las Vegas and we won both of those. It shows that we get our conditioning right for three-day tournaments.”

Fiji is pooled with Argentina, France and Samoa in the Las Vegas 7s and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
