Fiji has successfully established itself as a popular golfing destination around the world.
Fiji International Event Manager, Harmony Thomas made the following comments during the signing of a sponsorship with Fiji Airways at the Fiji Tourism Expo in Nadi today.
She adds they have been receiving positive feedbacks from international golf buyers towards the tournament.
“I can tell you this from going to the Asian Tourism golfing convention earlier this year and the feedback from all the buyers, specific Golf Buyers was there were surprised that Golf was now available in Fiji. And they thought that it was a great product to sell.”
Meanwhile, Fiji Airways has signed on as the Official Airline of the Fiji International in a three-year sponsorship deal, which will take the professional golf tournament to new heights.
