Fiji 9s League team takes time out to plant mangroves

The Fiji Rugby League 9’s team took an active role in helping preserve our marine ecology yesterday, planting mangroves at the Suva shore.

The team was joined by staff from Vodafone Fiji

Team Captain Luke Nadurutalo Fiji 9’s team is boosted by the experience of those who ply the trade overseas.

“Preparations so far is good, we have hit the sand dunes twice this week and the boys are ready to go out there and play”

Nadurutalo says they have had two good training sessions in the Sand dunes and is confident of winning gold in Samoa.

The team will take part in the round-robin competition before the finals.

Fiji 9’s team departs to Samoa on Friday.
