Fiji 7s wary of Japan

The Vodafone Fiji 7s side is geared up for its Cup quarterfinal clash against Japan in the Tokyo 7s tournament this afternoon.

The Osea Kolinisau-led side will not be taking any chances against the hosts, who will be relishing their maiden appearance in a Cup quarterfinal.

It is still uncofirmed whether veteran forward, Pio Tuwai wil return to action today after he was stretchered off the field in the final pool encounter against England yesterday.

The Cherry Blossoms will be featuring in the Cup stages for the first time in World Series history.

The Fiji-Japan match will kick-off at 2:20pm.

In other quarterfinal matches, South Africa meets Scotland at 2:42pm, France faces England at 3:04pm and New Zealand takes on Canada at 3:26pm.

The Cup semi-finals will begin at 6:22pm and the final will kick-off at 9pm.
