Vodafone Fiji 7s team expects to march into camp on the 3rd of January to prepare for the Wellington and Sydney tournaments next year.

Coach Nacanieli Cawanibuka says they hope to name more than 20 players for the training camp from which they will select 14 for the final squad.

“The team is coming to camp god willing the first week of January we are year making the 3rd of January where they actually march into camp and that will be time as well we have Gareth Baber in camp with them. So we looking to have about a bit over 20 players to come in and contest for those position for Wellington.”

Fiji is pooled with Sevens World Series leaders and Dubai champions South Africa, Australia and Japan in the Wellington 7s.
