The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team will base its camp in Utah in USA two weeks before the World Cup in San Francisco in July.

Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber says he will take the team early to the USA to acclimatize and adjust to the time zone for the World Cup.

“We going to go into two weeks in Utah in the US which we can train at altitude and it’s not too far from San Francisco as well. It has Olympic set up there which we have organized to use.”

Baber also revealed he will be selecting a 16 member squad mid of next month.

Meanwhile, players like Nikola Matawalu, Semi Radradra, Leone Nakarawa, Semi Kunatani and Josua Tuisova have shown their interests to join the team.
